Where is it located?

As the name suggests, Dhërmi beach Albania, is located in the coastal village of Dhërmi, situated in the Albanian Riviera (Southwestern Albanian coastal region). It falls under the municipality of Himarë, which is part of Vlorë County. Additionally, Dhërmi Albanien shares the Ionian Sea coastline, renowned for its clear waters and pebble beaches.

Dhërmi Vlorë Albania can be reached through the following options:

  • By Flight:

Though there’s no airport in Dhërmi, if you’re willing to fly, there are two nearby options. One option is Tirana International Airport (TIA, approx. 140 km away), then taking the road to reach the destination in about 3-4 hours.  The other is Corfu Airport in Greece. Though it is not that near. You need to take a ferry to Saranda from there, followed by a road route (bus/taxi). The new Vlora International Airport (53 km) has recently opened, with good but fewer options than TIA, which you may consider.

  • By Car:

Nice car rental options are available to reach the beach. And of course, you may opt for a self-drive to enjoy the view at your own pace. You can get one from Tirana, Sarande, or Vlorë.

  • By Bus:

Though a car allows higher flexibility, taking the bus is also highly recommended. You can get direct buses from Saranda via Himare to Dhërmi Albania. Buses or shared furgons (minibuses) can be caught from Tirana, and buses from Vlorë city are yet another amazing option.
