Vlorë Beach Albania : Vlorë sits at the southern tip of Albania’s coast. To the north, you’ll find long, sandy beaches along a wide coastal plain. The southern shoreline is steeper, rockier, and the sea is especially clear. This is also where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas come together. You can take a boat to the remote Karaburun Peninsula, which has some of the area’s most beautiful beaches. Orikum and Radhimë are the biggest resorts after Vlorë. Zvërnec is another popular beach, especially for campervans.

In summer, many people from Fier head to Seman’s four-kilometre stretch of sandy beach. It’s a favorite for families because the water gets deeper very gradually, making it safe for kids. Between the beach and the pine forest, you’ll find several lagoons, and the beach itself can be several hundred meters wide. Old bunkers, slowly eroding and sinking into the water, add an interesting touch to the landscape.

Hidrovor Beach (Vlore Beach Albania)

Hidrovor beach is a quiet spot stretching several kilometers and up to 200 meters wide. It separates the Adriatic Sea from the northern part of the Narta Lagoon and the nearby salt flats. The main problems are the gravel road leading in and the visible trash, which makes the area look untidy. On the plus side, there is a good restaurant open during certain seasons.

Zvërnec Beach

Zvërnec Beach, also called Dalan Beach, is a lovely spot that not many people know about. It sits on a narrow strip of land between the Adriatic Sea and the Narta Lagoon. Most visitors are campers and nature lovers, since there are no built-up facilities. Like nearby Porto Novo beach, Zvërnec Beach has a crescent shape and is surrounded by sandstone cliffs. It takes about 20 minutes to get there from Vlorë. This is the best Vlore Beach in Albania.

Old Beach in Vlorë

A pine forest planted years ago to help prevent coastal erosion lines part of Vlorë’s Old Beach (Plazhi i Vjetër), which stretches northwest from the harbour. The sandy, flat beach is a great place for an evening walk as the sun goes down.

New Beach in Vlorë

The palm-lined New Beach (Plazhi i Ri) runs for several kilometres between Vlorë’s port and the Uji e Ftohtë, or Cold Water, road tunnel. The nearby promenade is called Lungomare.

Radhimë Beaches

Most of Vlorë is on the coastal plain, but mountains rise just south of the city. The coastline is striking, with many inlets and beaches that are often only a few dozen meters wide. The beaches and water in this part of Vlora Bay are usually very clean. There has been significant development, with hotels and guesthouses built on almost every available plot. Among the beaches, Bora Bora and Radhimë are probably the most popular.

Orikum Beach

A well-known pebble beach in Orikum sits between Pashaliman Lagoon and Vlorë Bay. Visitors can choose from many places to stay and eat, and Albania’s only yacht marina is right next door. At the western end of the beach, you can also explore the ancient city of Oricum.

Karaburun Beaches

The Karaburun Peninsula is known for its beautiful beaches and clear water. The easiest way to reach them is by boat from Vlorë. St. John’s Beach, at the tip of the peninsula, and St. Vasil Beach, on the Gulf of Vlorë, are the most popular. Both beaches have a bar during the high season, and daily boats leave from Vlorë, Radhimë, or Orikum. If you prefer to walk, Brisan Beach is one of the few you can reach on foot, about a two-hour walk from Orikum.
